There are some breeds that are considered highly intelligent. Smartest Dog Breeds enjoy learning and need in addition to the physical movement of a mental occupation. Of course, the intelligence of each dog is individual – if your dog breed is not listed to Top 10 Smartest Dog Breeds, this does not mean that your dog is not at least as intelligent!

1. Border Collie

7. Rottweiler

10. Australian Cattle Dog

The Australian Cattle Dog is a robust, intelligent and sturdy dog. He is known as hard working and guard dog who needs a firm hand. Especially males are very conscious of rank and not afraid of conflicts and struggles. In general, Cattle dogs, they are real ‘character dogs’, full of energy, which must be properly directed. They are generally very gentle and affectionate towards family member and familiar people, but they show great aloofness towards strangers.
